book festival
Authors meet readers
A book festival is a public event celebrating literature, typically featuring author readings, panel discussions, book signings, and sales.
These gatherings range from small local affairs to major multi-day events drawing thousands: We spent the whole weekend at the book festival.
Most focus on a mix of genres, though some specialize in poetry, children's literature, or regional writing.
