Dried nose gunk
Boogers are dried or semi-dried nasal mucus, the crusty bits you pick from your nose.
The word is mildly crude but standard among children and in casual speech: Stop picking your boogers.
Booger can also be an affectionate term for a small child, especially a mischievous one: Come here, you little booger.
