Felt-covered playing areas
Billiard tables are large rectangular tables with a flat, felt-covered surface and cushioned rails, designed for playing billiards, pool, snooker, and similar cue sports.
The playing surface sits at a standard height, with pockets at the corners and sides for games that require sinking balls.
They spent the evening around the billiard table.
