beta phase
Second development stage
Beta phase is the stage of software development when a product is feature-complete but still being tested before official release.
Beta versions go to a wider audience than internal testing, letting developers catch bugs and gather feedback: The app is currently in beta phase.
Users who participate are beta testers, and the process is beta testing.
