bespoke shoes
Made-to-measure footwear
Bespoke shoes are custom-made footwear crafted to an individual customer's specifications and measurements.
The term comes from British tailoring tradition—a bespoke item has been "spoken for" by a particular client.
Unlike off-the-rack or made-to-measure options, bespoke shoes involve creating a unique last (foot model) and building the shoe from scratch: He ordered bespoke shoes from a London shoemaker.
The process typically requires multiple fittings and takes weeks or months.
