ball hockey
Rinkless stick sport
Ball hockey is a variant of ice hockey played on foot rather than on skates, typically on a hard surface like pavement or a gymnasium floor, using a ball instead of a puck.
The game follows similar rules to ice hockey but requires no ice rink: We played ball hockey in the school parking lot.
Popular in Canada and increasingly elsewhere as an accessible alternative to the ice game.
