auto-reverse
Cassette deck feature
Auto-reverse is a feature on cassette tape players that automatically plays the second side of a tape when the first side ends, reversing the direction of the tape mechanism rather than requiring manual flipping.
The feature was common on car stereos and portable players from the 1980s through the 1990s: I loved that my Walkman had auto-reverse.
