arccosine
Cosine's reverse function
Arccosine is the inverse of the cosine function—given a value between -1 and 1, it returns the angle whose cosine equals that value.
The result is typically expressed in radians (0 to π) or degrees (0° to 180°).
Written as arccos or cos⁻¹ in mathematical notation: The arccosine of 0.5 is 60 degrees.
