agh

Cry of frustration

Agh is an exclamation of frustration, disgust, or exasperation—a written approximation of a guttural sound: Agh, I can't believe I forgot again.

It conveys stronger annoyance than "ugh" and often suggests throwing one's hands up.

Variant spellings include argh and aagh.
