aerial yoga
Suspended flexibility practice
Aerial yoga is a style of yoga performed in a fabric hammock suspended from the ceiling, allowing practitioners to attempt poses while partially or fully supported off the ground.
The hammock enables deeper stretches and inversions that would be difficult on a mat: I started aerial yoga to decompress my spine.
Also called anti-gravity yoga.
