adult section
Age-verified material area
The adult section is the area of a store, library, or website that contains sexually explicit material—pornography, erotica, or other content restricted to those over eighteen.
In video rental stores and bookshops, this section was often curtained or separated: He slipped into the adult section when no one was looking.
Online, the adult section requires age verification.
