acoustical
Pertaining to hearing
Acoustical means relating to sound or the science of sound.
It's interchangeable with acoustic in most contexts: acoustical engineering, acoustical properties of the concert hall.
Some style guides prefer acoustic for general uses and acoustical for technical or scientific applications, but the distinction is not consistently observed.
