Queue position warning
You're Next is a threat or warning that someone will be the next target, victim, or recipient of attention—usually unwanted.
The phrase appears in horror contexts, competitive situations, or playful teasing: The killer left a note: "You're next." After watching three coworkers get laid off, I figured I was next.
It can also signal someone's turn in a neutral sense: You're next in line.
