A Windsor knot is a wide, triangular necktie knot that produces a symmetrical, substantial appearance.
Named after the Duke of Windsor, though he apparently favored thick fabric rather than the knot itself.
The full Windsor is larger than the half-Windsor: He tied a Windsor knot for the interview.
