War Pigs

Battlefield hog metaphor

War Pigs is the title of a 1970 Black Sabbath song that condemns military and political leaders who send others to die in wars they themselves avoid.

The term has entered broader use as a denunciation of hawkish politicians and war profiteers—those who advocate for or benefit from armed conflict while bearing none of its costs: The protesters called the defense contractors war pigs.
