VIP preview
Members-only first look
A VIP preview is an exclusive early viewing of something—an exhibition, film, sale, or product launch—offered to important guests before the general public gains access.
The designation signals privilege and insider status: The gallery hosted a VIP preview the night before the show opened.
Retailers use VIP previews to reward loyal customers with first pick of merchandise.
