V-sync
Monitor refresh matching
V-sync (vertical synchronization) is a display setting that matches a game's frame rate to a monitor's refresh rate, preventing screen tearing—a visual artifact where portions of different frames appear simultaneously.
Enabling V-sync produces smoother visuals but can introduce input lag.
I turned off V-sync to reduce latency in competitive matches.
