Tyler Durden
Tyler Durden is a fictional character from Chuck Palahniuk's 1996 novel *Fight Club* and its 1999 film adaptation.
He embodies anarchic rejection of consumer culture and conventional masculinity.
The name has become shorthand for a certain brand of nihilistic anti-establishment philosophy, often invoked by those who fancy themselves iconoclasts: He's got a real Tyler Durden complex going on.
