Trinity knot
Three-cornered Celtic symbol
A Trinity knot is a Celtic design of three interlaced arcs forming a triangular shape, each corner a pointed loop.
Also called a triquetra.
The symbol appears in ancient Celtic art and medieval manuscripts, later adopted by Christians to represent the Holy Trinity.
It remains popular in jewelry, tattoos, and decorative designs: She wore a silver Trinity knot pendant.
