Toys R Us
Kids' retail chain
Toys R Us was an American toy and juvenile-products retailer, once the dominant specialty toy chain worldwide.
The stylized backwards "R" in the name suggested a child's handwriting.
The company filed for bankruptcy in 2017 and closed most stores by 2018, becoming a symbol of retail's decline against online competition.
The brand has since been partially revived through smaller retail presences.
