TPS report
Mundane status document
TPS report is office jargon for a routine status document, typically covering testing, production, or project status.
The term gained widespread recognition through the 1999 film *Office Space*, where obsessive management focus on TPS report cover sheets became a symbol of soul-crushing corporate bureaucracy.
Now often used sarcastically to reference pointless paperwork or micromanagement: Did you get the memo about the TPS reports?
