Sunday strip
Colored newspaper funnies
A Sunday strip is a comic strip that appears in the Sunday edition of a newspaper, typically larger and in color, unlike the smaller black-and-white daily strips that run Monday through Saturday.
Sunday strips often feature more elaborate artwork and self-contained stories: The Sunday strip gave cartoonists room to experiment with page layouts.
