Red Dawn
Scarlet morning light
Red Dawn is a 1984 American film depicting a Soviet invasion of the United States, with teenage guerrillas fighting the occupiers.
The title became shorthand for fantasies of armed resistance against foreign or government takeover: He's been stockpiling ammo like he's waiting for Red Dawn.
A 2012 remake substituted North Korean invaders.
