Pavlova

Prima ballerina, immortalized

Anna Pavlova was a Russian ballerina of the early twentieth century, celebrated for her grace and artistry.

She is best remembered for "The Dying Swan," a solo choreographed specifically for her.

The meringue dessert pavlova was named in her honor during one of her tours of Australia and New Zealand. (Lowercase pavlova is the dessert.)
