A Cobb salad is an American composed salad arranged in rows on a bed of lettuce: chopped chicken or turkey, hard-boiled eggs, tomatoes, bacon, avocado, blue cheese, and chives, typically served with vinaigrette.
Unlike tossed salads, the ingredients remain visually distinct until mixing.
