PV=nRT

Ideal gas law

PV=nRT is the ideal gas law, a fundamental equation in chemistry and physics relating pressure (P), volume (V), amount of gas in moles (n), the gas constant (R), and temperature (T).

It describes how gases behave under varying conditions, predicting that if you heat a gas in a fixed container, pressure rises.

Use PV=nRT to calculate how much the balloon will expand.
