P.M.
Evening hours designation
P.M. or p.m. stands for post meridiem, Latin for "after midday," and designates the hours from noon until midnight.
It contrasts with A.M., which covers midnight to noon.
In casual writing the periods are often dropped: The meeting starts at 2 pm.
P.M. can also stand for prime minister, though this abbreviation typically appears capitalized without periods: The PM addressed parliament this morning.
