Oak Island
Nova Scotia enigma
Oak Island is a small island off Nova Scotia, Canada, famous for a supposed buried treasure that has attracted treasure hunters since the late 1700s.
The "Money Pit," a shaft discovered there, has spawned elaborate theories involving pirates, the Knights Templar, and hidden manuscripts.
Despite centuries of excavation and a popular television series, no significant treasure has been found.
They've been digging on Oak Island for over two hundred years.
