Mouseketeers
Club's young performers
Mouseketeers were the young cast members of *The Mickey Mouse Club*, a children's television variety show that aired on ABC beginning in 1955 and was revived in later decades.
The name playfully combines Mickey Mouse with musketeers.
The 1990s revival launched the careers of several pop stars, including Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake, and Christina Aguilera.
