Mothers Day
Spring parental holiday
Mother's Day is a holiday honoring mothers, celebrated in the United States on the second Sunday of May.
Cards, flowers, and brunch are traditional.
The apostrophe placement varies: Mother's Day (each person honoring their own mother) is standard, but Mothers' Day and Mothers Day also appear.
Similar holidays exist in many countries on different dates.
