Médoc
Left Bank wine
Médoc is a wine-growing region in southwestern France, on a peninsula north of Bordeaux along the Gironde estuary.
The name typically refers to red wines produced there, known for Cabernet Sauvignon-dominant blends: a bottle of Médoc, the 2015 Médocs are drinking beautifully now.
The region includes prestigious appellations like Margaux, Pauillac, and Saint-Estèphe.
