M&M characters
Chocolate spokescandies personified
The M&M characters are the anthropomorphized candy mascots used in Mars advertising since the 1950s, each colored shell given a distinct personality.
Red is cocky, Yellow is dim but sweet, Green is seductive.
They appear in commercials, merchandise, and the branded stores.
References to M&M characters often invoke their exaggerated personas: She has Green M&M energy.
