Cross-country asphalt artery

I-70 is a major east-west interstate highway in the United States, stretching approximately 2,150 miles from Utah to Maryland.

It passes through ten states and connects major cities including Denver, Kansas City, St.

Louis, Indianapolis, Columbus, and Baltimore.

The highway crosses the Rocky Mountains at the Eisenhower Tunnel, one of the highest points on the Interstate Highway System.
