Haydn

Franz Joseph Haydn was an Austrian composer of the Classical period, known as the "Father of the Symphony" and "Father of the String Quartet." His prolific output—over a hundred symphonies and dozens of quartets—established forms that Mozart and Beethoven would inherit.

We're performing Haydn's "Surprise" Symphony.

His brother Michael was also a composer of note.
