Hahnemann
Like cures like
Samuel Hahnemann (1755–1843) was a German physician who founded homeopathy, a system of alternative medicine based on the principle that "like cures like"—that substances causing symptoms in healthy people can cure similar symptoms in the sick when highly diluted.
His name appears in homeopathic contexts: Hahnemann's principles, the Hahnemann method.
Several medical institutions bear his name.
