Gwen Stacy
Gwen Stacy is a fictional character in Marvel Comics, best known as Spider-Man's first serious love interest.
Her death in a 1973 storyline—where she dies despite Spider-Man's attempt to save her—became one of comics' most influential moments, often cited as ending the optimistic "Silver Age" of superhero stories.
The character has since appeared in various alternate-universe versions, most notably Spider-Gwen, who gains spider powers herself.
