GBC
Portable gaming device
GBC is an abbreviation for Game Boy Color, Nintendo's handheld gaming console released in 1998.
It appears in discussions of retro gaming and cartridge compatibility: I still have my old GBC and a bunch of Pokémon games.
The abbreviation distinguishes it from the original Game Boy (GB) and Game Boy Advance (GBA).
