Game Gear
Portable Sega console
Game Gear was Sega's handheld video game console, released in 1990 as a color-screen competitor to Nintendo's Game Boy.
It offered a backlit display and TV tuner attachment but suffered from short battery life.
The name now evokes early-90s portable gaming nostalgia: I still have my old Game Gear somewhere in the attic.
