Frigidaire
Kitchen cooling company
Frigidaire is a brand of home appliances, especially refrigerators.
The name became so associated with refrigerators in the mid-20th century that some speakers use it generically for any refrigerator, regardless of manufacturer: Put the milk back in the Frigidaire.
This generic use is now dated and mostly regional, concentrated in the American South.
