Egyptian calendar
Ancient Nile schedule
The Egyptian calendar was an ancient system of 365 days divided into twelve months of thirty days each, plus five extra days at year's end.
It lacked leap years, so it gradually drifted from the astronomical seasons.
This civil calendar coexisted with lunar calendars for religious purposes and influenced the later Julian calendar.
