DMZs
No-conflict buffer zones
DMZs is the plural of DMZ, an acronym for demilitarized zone—a buffer area between opposing military forces where weapons and troops are prohibited.
The most famous is the Korean DMZ separating North and South Korea.
In computing, a DMZ is a network segment that sits between a private internal network and the public internet, providing a layer of security: Put the web servers in the DMZ.
