CPU time
Processor usage measure
CPU time is the duration a computer's processor spends actively executing a program's instructions, as opposed to time spent waiting for input, storage, or other processes.
It measures computational work rather than elapsed clock time: a program might run for ten seconds but use only two seconds of CPU time.
The job consumed thirty minutes of CPU time.
