British accent
London vocal style
A British accent is any of the many ways English is spoken in Great Britain—though the phrase often implies the prestige accent associated with educated southern England, sometimes called Received Pronunciation.
In American usage, British accent frequently suggests refinement or sophistication: The villain always has a British accent.
Actual British accents vary enormously by region and class, from Cockney to Glaswegian to Yorkshire.
