puppet voice
Wooden figure's dialogue
Puppet voice is the exaggerated, often high-pitched or cartoonish vocal style used when speaking as a puppet, stuffed animal, or imaginary character.
Parents use it to animate toys for children; ventriloquists use it to distinguish the dummy from themselves.
By extension, any artificially altered voice meant to represent another entity: She did a puppet voice for the family dog.
