Biggie Smalls
Brooklyn hip-hop legend
Biggie Smalls is a stage name of Christopher Wallace (1972–1997), an influential American rapper also known as the Notorious B.I.G.
His heavy frame and smooth, storytelling flow made him a defining figure in East Coast hip-hop.
The name plays on contradiction—biggie suggesting his size, smalls undercutting it.
He was killed in a drive-by shooting whose case remains unsolved.
