Benadryl
Pink drowsy tablets
Benadryl is a brand name for diphenhydramine, an antihistamine used to treat allergies, hay fever, and cold symptoms.
It's known for causing drowsiness, which makes it a common over-the-counter sleep aid: I took a Benadryl and was out in twenty minutes.
The name is sometimes used generically for any similar antihistamine.
