Hexagonal-head bolt
An Allen screw is a screw with a hexagonal socket in its head, tightened or loosened with an L-shaped hexagonal wrench called an Allen key or Allen wrench.
The recessed head allows screws to sit flush with surfaces and provides more torque than slotted screws: The furniture came with Allen screws and a tiny wrench.
