Alaska Highway
Yukon access road
The Alaska Highway is a road connecting Dawson Creek, British Columbia, to Delta Junction, Alaska—roughly 1,400 miles through remote wilderness.
Built during World War II as a military supply route, it remains the only overland connection between the contiguous United States and Alaska.
We drove the Alaska Highway last summer.
