Afterpay
Deferred payment service
Afterpay is a buy-now-pay-later service that splits purchases into installments, typically four interest-free payments over several weeks.
Popular with online retailers, it lets shoppers acquire items immediately while spreading the cost: I put the shoes on Afterpay.
The brand name has become somewhat generic for this payment model, like similar services Klarna and Affirm.
