ABC islands
Venezuelan coast archipelago
The ABC islands are Aruba, Bonaire, and Curaçao—three Caribbean islands off the coast of Venezuela.
All three are constituent parts of the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
The name is simply an alphabetical mnemonic, though the islands share Dutch colonial history and similar arid climates that distinguish them from other Caribbean destinations.
